Redundant Arrays of Independent PaperweightsAvailable in multiple configurations, our Redundant Arrays of Independent Paperweights are up to any transient gravity failure crisis. We sell both striped and unstriped configurations, and can provide anything from zero-maintenance units to self-monitoring, hot-swappable arrays. Better still, all of our arrays come in a custom-designed enclosure designed specifically for the system's unique requirements. Striping allows Paperweight Unit (PU) failure to be limited by the remaining good PUs, and adds stability in high-vibration areas. A PU affected by a localized gravity failure will be prevented from escaping or becoming caught in important equipment by the behavior of the striping technology. Our unique Automatic Failure Indicator (AFI) technology allows instant notification in the event of a localized gravity failure, as well as spontaneous PU failure. The easy to read "good/no-good" alert system can be further augmented with an audible alarm, to allow storage of the array in obstructed, low-visiblity areas. Please be sure to specify the desired redundancy options and reliability add-ons when ordering, to prevent any possible localized gravity fluctuation from destroying important data. Additional data security can be had with redundant independent Redundant Arrays of Independent Paperweights. Please note that the Power Delivery Units (PDUs) for the self-monitoring arrays' AFIs may need replacement from time to time. Failure to replace the PDU may adversely affect the array's ability to notify you in the event of a gravity failure or fluctutation.
