A slow compiler and there's reason to believe
Maybe this build will be better than the last.
I can't remember the last time it would build without warnin';
Now the bugs scroll by so fast.

And it's one less build farm in the Valley,
And it's one less drive still workin'.
If you think that I can find the backups... Wish I could.

The smell of power supplies in servers
And the feeling that it's all a lot of kilos, but no megs.
And all at once you save onto a filled-up slice
And run df -k while write destroys /var.

Ran out of hardware support sometime around 2.2
And tried to hack support in for the card.
I guess the market makes you run a little faster,
Makes you upgrade a little faster all the things you could not support.

And it's been a slow compiler and there's reason to believe
Maybe this rev will run faster than the last.
I can't remember all the code I tried to write myself
To work around the losses in my BIOS.
